Tithes

Tithing is first introduced in scripture in Genesis 14: 18-20. In this passage Abraham meets with Melchizidek (Christ concealed in the Old Testatment) and has communication with Him. As a result, Melchizidek "blesses" Abraham and Abraham gives the "King of Peace" a tenth of all. Abraham willingly offered the tithe as honor to the One who blessed him. Tithing began before the "Law of Moses" and is therefore an act of willful obedience to the one with whom Abraham enjoys a special relationship with; Melchizidek/Christ. As children of Abraham that enjoy a special relationship with Christ, we should do no less

Offering

Throughout the Old Testament offerings always represented an attention getter for YHWH. He himself initiated the concept in Genesis 3 by making coats of skin for Adam and Eve, thereby killing an animal as a sacrifice/offering for their sin. The offering was separate and distinct from the tithe. It was designed to say to "YHWH" I'm offering something to you so that you might recognize me and respond to me in a unique way. It also represents your "seed" that is sowed into the soil of the kingdom. Every seed produces after its own kind. Therefore, you can expect a harvest that exceeds your seed!

International Ministry

In the fall of 2019 prior to the pandemic, Apostle Byrd was in five countries in 4 months traveling well over 30,000 flight miles in that short period of time. As we are emerging from the Jubilee hiatus the demand to minister abroad will be even greater than before. Your support for our ministry efforts in Myanmar, India, Brazil, Colombia and other countries is not only appreciated, it is necessary. Your contributions will impact the lives of many in areas where basic survival is by the grace of YHWH.
